Lifeline Road Network Improvement Project

There is no region in Armenia for which our team of engineers has not designed roads and streets, not to mention highways that connect the entire country.

The goal of the Lifeline Road Network Improvement Project in Armenia is to improve rural communities' access to markets and services by upgrading selected lifeline roads, strengthening the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology's capacity to manage the lifeline road network, and working to improve road safety at "black spot" locations.

The project started in 2010. During this period, approximately 500 km of roads throughout Armenia have been surveyed, designed, and reconstructed. This includes all types of roads as well as urban roads and highways.

Participation and contribution of DorProject Institute

LLC "DorProject Institute" has performed all design works for this project, starting as a sub-consultant for various international companies and ending as the main design consultant during the last years. Our company has also participated in the technical supervision of some parts of these roads and provided advice for the author supervision of most of them.

During the design process, video recording and drone photography were conducted on all road projects to document the existing condition of the roads for inventory purposes and further evaluation.

Why should you choose the DorProject Institute?

Our company has been in the road construction market since 1960, and all this time design and supervision have been our main services. There are no regions in Armenia where our team of engineers has not carried out road projects, not to mention the highways that connect the whole country (e.g., the North-South Highway).

We are constantly improving and developing our expertise. For example, during project supervision, our team notes any comments that arise and takes this information into account in the next projects. In addition, our engineers regularly monitor technological changes, methodologies, new developments, and knowledge in the road industry and apply these to their projects. This enables us to provide our customers with the opportunity to build safer, more durable, cheaper, and higher quality roads, streets, and transport facilities.
